Formatting Text
Purpose:
To be able to have the font displayed in the style, size, and color you want.  For example, you are making a flyer and want to make the title larger and in a different font and color than the text.

1.
Highlight the text that you want to format by dragging your mouse over while holding down the left mouse button.

2.
Use the pull-down arrow, select the font you would like to use, and then click.

3.
The font has changed to your selected style.  Now  pull-down the arrow beside the number, choose a larger or smaller number, and then click.

4.
Now your text is the size you have indicated.  Next click on the arrow beside the A on the taskbar, select a color, and click.

5.
Your text may not appear in the color you have selected.  For example, the font below is what appeared after choosing maroon.

6.
Once you click anywhere on the page, the highlighting will disappear and your new color choice will be visible.
