Adding a Watermark

Purpose:
To have an image set in the background of a document.  For example, you have a large graphic that you would like to be displayed in the background of your document.  The graphic needs to be light so that the text can be seen.

1.   You have a graphic in your document that you will make into a watermark.

2.   RIGHT click on the graphic, and then click Format Picture.

3.   In the Format Picture window, click on the Picture tab. Under Image Control, pull down the arrow and choose the Watermark option. Click OK.

4.   The picture becomes faded. Now text can be typed right over it.
