We will be wearing the shirts every Friday in April. Please see Mrs. Graves in the library if you are interested in ordering a t-shirt. Shirts will be delivered by Ms. Alpers at the beginning of March. The deadline to place an order is February 20th.
A representative from the Parkland Pathway program will be here Wednesday, February 26th during 5th hour. They have requested that this be a senior only event. Sign up in the Guidance Office if you are interested.
Attention Freshmen: There will be a class meeting in Mrs. Lindenmeyer's room (Room 17) this Thursday at 8AM!
All baseball players should turn in their t-shirt order forms to Coach Kimball by this Friday. No orders will be ordered after Friday, February 7th.
Coach Kimball will not have any more Thursday morning open gyms. Open gyms will only be held before school on Monday mornings.
In case you missed it, history was made last night at the girls’ basketball game. Not only was it senior night for three great girls- Hannah Fridgen, Martina Meibach, and Elyce Knudsen- it was the night the all-time scoring record was shattered. Brian Cardinal, 1995 Unity grad, a Purdue grad, and NBA champion held the record of 1,812 career points for 25 years. Going into last night Elyce needed 14 points to tie, and 15 points to break that record. She scored her 15th point in the third quarter going on to score 23 on the night. Elyce is now the all-time leading scorer for Unity High School basketball with 1,821 and counting. The team went on to beat Illini Prairie Conference foe Monticello in a thrilling game. Coach Ellars would like to thank the Pep band, the student section, the fans, and Brian Cardinal for creating a great atmosphere.
