Parkland College will be visiting Unity on Tuesday, March 10th. Juniors and Seniors interested in meeting with this representative should sign up in the Guidance Office. Seniors planning to attend Parkland in the fall of 2022 should definitely sign up.
The Music Boosters are hosting their annual fundraiser here at the High School. "All Out A Cappella" will feature several collegiate a cappella groups as well as our very own Surreal Sound. There will be two shows on Saturday, February 26tth at 4pm and 7pm. Sign up to volunteer in Mr. Krafcisin's room and be sure to come to the show and tell your family.
Student Council Week is quickly approaching, so make sure to order you StuCo Week shirt by February 17. Check your school email for an order form, and you can pay upon pick up!
Come experience bass fishing at the tournament level with other high schools and have a chance to go to the sectionals and state championships. First meeting is Monday February 28 at 6:30 pm. Please come to the office to sign up and get the location.
FCCLA will be selling candy grams from 8-8:15 in room 18. You will have the chance to send someone a ring pop for $1 each until Wednesday, February 16th.
Spring Picture Day will be Thursday, February 24th from 8:20 am - 10:00 am. If you want pictures taken, please get an order form from the front deck inside the library doors.
Come out and audition for this year’s Spring Musical, Pippin, a tale of Magic, War, Glory, and Purpose. Auditions are Tomorrow, February 15th and Wednesday, February 16th in the choir room. No singing or dancing experience necessary. See Mr. Krafcisin in the choir room to pick up an audition packet.
Congratulations to the following Wrestling State qualifiers: From the Boys-Kaden Inman,Tavius Hosley, Nat Nosler, Kyus Root, Grant Albaugh, Nick Nosler, Oran Varela,Karson Richardson. From Girls’ Wrestling, Lexi Ritchie and Ava Vasey qualified.
Any spectator attending the track meet on Wednesday night at the Armory will need to have proof of vaccination or a negative test. The track meet will begin at 7PM.
Unity Vocal Rush competed at the Manteno Main Event this past Saturday. The group placed 4th overall with Roger Holben earning the award for Outstanding Performer. Cody Broadfoot and Shelbee Taylor competed in Manteno’s solo competition and tied for third in their respective divisions. Congrats to Vocal Rush and the soloists.
