The Parkland Pathways program is accepting applications through April 5th.  The pathway program is a dual-enrollment program and students will apply to be admitted at both Parkland and the University of Illinois.  Please see your counselor with any questions.

Seniors. This Thursday during third period, the Civics Department and the Champaign County League of Women Voters will be conducting a voter drive here at school. It will be presenting voter information and give those that want to and are eligible, a chance to register to vote. Bring a pen, state ID or know the last four digits of your social security number. Report to your third period for attendance, then you will be dismissed to the auditorium. See Mr. Kleiss if you have any questions.  

Prom tickets will be sold before and after school in Mrs. Lindenmeyer’s room 17 and Mrs. Leaman’s room 11.  Tickets are $40 each; seniors are free, but must still pick up a ticket.  If you are bringing a non-UHS student, you must have a signed permission form before purchasing a ticket for the guest.  Permission forms can be picked up in the office. 

The Post Prom trip has been changed.  If you have paid, you can stop in the office to pick up your money.  New details will be sent out soon. 

The Girls Track and Field Team took 6th out of 35 teams at the Clinton Last Chance Meet last night.  The 4x800 team of Erica Woodard, Harper Hancock, Arianna Priutt-LeFaivre, and Ashlyn Denney ran a 10:04.08 which is the fastest time in the state for that event.  Kayla Nelson jumped 16'9" which is the 9th best jump in Illinois.  The 4x400 team of Denney, Pruitt-LeFaivre, Bri Ritchie, and Lauren Miller ran a 4:16.07, the 7th fastest time in that event this year for Illinois.The Rockets will compete again this Saturday for the Illinois Top Times State Championship Meet at Illinois Wesleyan.  If you would still like to join Rocket Track and Field, it's not too late.  The outdoor season starts next week!  See Coach Reetz or Coach Leaman if you are interested or have questions. 

Seniors, Mr Stringer and Mrs Kuetemeyer are now taking sign ups and deposits for the senior trip.  The first 52 to sign up and pay the deposit are guaranteed a spot, everyone else will be put on a waiting list for a second bus.  Check your Google classroom for more details about the trip
