Attention Seniors: There are still spots available for the Senior trip. See Mr Stringer and Mrs Kuetemeyer for more information. Check your Google classroom for details about the trip. 

Seniors the local Unity Scholarships are now available in the guidance office.  An email with the list of scholarships has been sent to your school email address.  Scholarships are due on Wednesday, April 20th at 8:20am. Please see your counselor with any questions.

Unity's GSA will have a meeting this Friday, April 8 during activity period. We will begin planning our first social event. Please see Ms. Snodgrass if you cannot attend the meeting.

On Tuesday, April 12th all juniors will take the Illinois Science Assessment. On Wednesday, April 13th all freshmen will take the PSAT 9, sophomores will take the PSAT 10, juniors will take the SAT with Essay and seniors will have a college day. Please see Mrs. Mills if you have any questions.  

The wrestling banquet will be tonight at 7 pm in the High School cafeteria. 

Attention Rockets: The Unity Marching Band is looking for members to join the 2022/2023 Color Guard program. If you're interested in the fine arts or are looking to try something new that is both challenging and rewarding, please stop by the band room before next Wednesday, April 13th and talk to Mr. Cardiff. All students and grade levels are welcome. You don't have to be in band or have any prior experience to be in color guard to join. If you're not sure what color guard is, please stop in the band room and ask Mr. Cardiff for more information. 

Any Freshmen, Sophomore, or Junior class student interested in holding an officer position for the 2022-2023 school year can pick up a petition in the office or outside Room 7.  Completed petitions are due by Tuesday, April 12 at 3 PM.

The Unity Girls Track and Field team kicked off the outdoor season last night at Clinton with a triangular meet with Clinton and Argenta. Scoring points for the Rockets in the top 3 for their event were:  Kayla Nelson and Lauren Miller 1st and 2nd in the 100 Meters, Emily Decker and Harper Hancock 1st and 2nd in the 400 Meters, Erica Woodard 1st and Olivia Shike 3rd  in the 800.  Josie Cler 3rd in the 1600 meters, Brie Ritchie took 1st in both the 100 and 300 Hurdles.  The 4x100 team of Estella Dodd, Bri Ritchie, Kayla Nelson, and Lauren Miller took 1st, the 4x200 team of Lydia Rossi, Paige Garretson, Kadence Goff and Sophia Hartke took 1st, 4x400 team of Woodard, Hancock, Cami Reedy, and Molly Baxley took 2nd, and the 4x800 team of Shike, Hancock, Pruitt-LeFaivre, and Woodard also took 1st.  In the field events, Ana Carter was 1st in the discus, and Bri Ritchie and Kayla Nelson took 1st and 2nd in the Long Jump.  The Rockets will travel down to Carterville for the Lions Invitational this Saturday.
