All Out A Capella, Unity Music Boosters’ biggest fundraiser, is this Friday at 7 pm in the UHS Polly Anderson Auditorium. Come out to see Unity’s very own A Capella group Surreal Sound! For a delicious dinner provided by Niemergs, please sign up with the bar code on the TVs in the hall. We hope to see you there for a night of basket raffles and great music.
Want to crochet or sew? Need to decompress after school? Ms. Boyd and Mrs. Krukewitt started an after school group that allows students to learn new skills (sewing and crochet) and use them as a way to relax/decompress after a busy school day. We meet from 3-4:30;please make sure you have a ride home at 4:30. Even if you missed our 1st meeting, you are welcome!
Course Registration forms for the 24-25 school year were handed out over the last few days. If you were absent and did not receive a form, please stop by the guidance office to pick one up. We will start scheduling this week.
Attention seniors: Tomorrow during 2nd period, all the seniors will attend an assembly in the auditorium. Mr. Kleiss and the League of Women Voters will conduct a voter drive to give seniors voting information and a chance to register if you qualify and wish to. Please report to your 2nd hour class for attendance, then proceed to the auditorium when instructed to do so. Please bring the following information with you:
The last four digits of your social security number or your driver's license number.
If any senior is absent during the meeting, see Mr. Kleiss for the information you missed.

Friday: Ages Day- Freshmen dress as babies; Sophomores dress at teen; Juniors-dress as adults/teachers; Seniors dress as Senior Citizens.
Stage crew & set building, please plan on meeting in Ms. Marcel’s room today from 3-4:30 pm to learn about your responsibilities.
Students enrolled in the SAT Prep Course, there will be a brief informational meeting at 8 a.m. tomorrow in Mr. Heist's room.
Attention students: The IHSA Wrestling State Finals will be held this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (February 15-17) at the State Farm Center. Tickets are $10 or $12 per session (5 total sessions) and parking is $15 per day (all day). Concession stands are cashless; you can only use a card or Apple pay.
Congratulations to Hunter Shike, Taylor Finley, Kaden Inman, Ryan Rink, Thayden Root, Hunter Eastin, and Phoenix Molina for qualifying for the state finals.
Our Unity High School Wrestlers will begin at 12:00pm on Thursday, and students can be excused after 3rd hour (10:55am) with a parent phone call by 3:00 pm Wednesday. Our UHS Wrestlers will begin at 11am on Friday, and students can be excused for the entire day with a parent phone call before 3:00 pm on Thursday. Calls must be the day prior to the event attending.
The Pork Chop Lunch is next week on Wednesday February 21st. A meal is $8, a sandwich only is $6, and extras are $1 each. Extras include chips, cookies, and drinks. This will take place in the Ag shop during lunch hours. Be sure to stop by and get an appetizing meal to support your Unity FFA!
On Thursday night, the Girls’ Basketball team will be competing in the Regional Championship against the Paris Tigers! They will be playing at Monticello HS at 7 pm. Come and support our girls!
The theme for Friday’s night’s Boys’ basketball game is “Jersey.” Come to the game wearing your favorite jersey to support our Senior boys on Senior night. There will be gift cards handed out and there will be a halftime competition for a prize!
